Rewriting Your Story

Life changes — grief, divorce, identity shifts, healing, new independence — rewrite your story whether you choose it or not. But at a certain point, you get to pick up the pen again.

Rewriting your story is not about pretending the past didn’t happen. It’s about understanding:

  • what shaped you

  • what broke you

  • what healed you

  • what you’re ready to release

  • who you are becoming

  • what you want your life to hold next

  • how travel, solitude, and movement have changed you

When you’ve lived through loss or transition, the story you once told about yourself may no longer feel true. You may feel:

  • disconnected from your “old self”

  • unsure of who you are now

  • caught between chapters

  • afraid to imagine a future

  • hopeful but cautious

  • ready for change but uncertain where to begin

These prompts guide you through the courageous work of reclaiming your narrative — with honesty, gentleness, and vision. They help you look at your life not through the lens of what ended, but through the lens of who you are becoming.
