Where Am I Going?
Now that I'm in my solo travel era, I am beyond excited for all the adventures ahead! There’s nothing like the anticipation of planning new trips—discovering new places, soaking in different cultures, and embracing those spontaneous moments that make travel so unforgettable. Whether I’m heading somewhere completely new or revisiting old favorites, I know each journey will bring its own magic. I can’t wait to take in stunning landscapes, try incredible local food, and create memories that I’ll cherish forever!

Thought not a solo trip, I am excited for a magical adventure! In summer 2025, my daughter and I are setting off on a 13-day journey through the enchanting worlds of Harry Potter and beyond. We'll kick things off in the stunning city of Edinburgh, then hop on the Jacobite train in Fort Williams for a ride straight out of the wizarding world. After a cozy sleeper train to London, we'll explore iconic spots that sparked Harry Potter tales. To top it all off, we'll wander through the Anne Frank House, the Van Gogh Museum, and the canals of Amsterdam—talk about a bucket list trip!
Honolulu, Hawaii

Again, not a solo trip, but for Christmas this year, I'm off to a family vacation in Honolulu for 10 days filled with sunshine laughter, and sandy beaches instead of snow! After my husband passed away, I brought the kids to Hawaii, and I wasn't sure how I'd handle a holiday without snow. But let me tell you, Honolulu was bursting with Christmas spirit—who knew palm trees could get so decked out? It was absolutely magical, and I highly recommend it—just don’t forget your sunscreen and leave the snow shovels behind!

So many cruises to choose from—but with some use-it-or-lose-it rewards burning a hole in my account, I booked this solo cruise at the eleventh hour. It’s a roundtrip sailing from Miami with stops in St. Thomas, Puerto Rico, St. Kitts, St. Maarten, Antigua, the Dominican Republic, and Great Stirrup Cay. I’m on a mission to cruise every Norwegian ship and visit every Caribbean island. I’ve been to a few of these places before, but this itinerary lets me tick off even more bucket list stops.
New Cruises Pending
More cruise adventures are on the horizon! Top of the list: a full-transit journey through the Panama Canal (because who doesn’t want to sail straight through a continent?). I’m also bringing back the Alaskan cruise I had to cancel earlier this year—think of it as my vacation comeback tour. Other options that are calling: Bermuda and an epic itinerary through Iceland, Greenland, and Northern Europe. The map isn’t done with me yet… and perhaps, just perhaps, there’s a surprise or two still waiting to be charted.
